Just heard from Pat G. Guess her eye surgery was smooth sailin' an' all's well. She did say, though, that lookin' at th' world through one good eye sure makes a person appreciate all th' beautiful stuff that's out there!
She's plannin' t' be at th' Auburn (ME) UU Church coffee house again this month on th' 14th, an' th' Brunswick UU Church coffee house on th' 21st tellin' stories 'bout Harvey an' me. Again.
H. says "Don't that woman EVER shut up?"
We got s'more snow comin' in t'morra. But th' wood's holdin' out just fine an' we're all stocked up with vittles, so me an' Harvey're lookin' forward t' a day o' peace an' quiet. I made a big pot o' corn chowdah an' a couple loaves o' Anadama.
