Just a quick note... Harvey's been out all afternoon workin' as stern man on our son-in-law's boat and when he gets home I'm gonna havta feed him / listen t' all about what they caught 'n who else was fishin' nearby 'n whose boat's lookin' run down / clean up / get out my bread-makin' ingredients f'r tomorrow. So I ain't got a whole lotta time.
But I gotta tell ya that I didn't do one single blessed thing t'day but read that Laurie King mystery book!
Harvey went off early an' I was pretty much caught up on my chores, so I just parked myself in th' winda in th' sun an' disappeared inta that story!
Good 'un, too.
Th' only real break I took was a while ago t' make up a mac 'n cheese casserole f'r supper an' while it's been bakin' I went right back t' Mary Russell an' Sherlock Holmes.
Oh geez, here he is. I gotta go.
